ABOUT THE WFWO

WFWO works to contribute to the Global Development Agenda through development cooperation, awareness-raising, partnerships, capacity building, and implementation of programmes and initiatives.

Our objectives include:

1. Increasing public awareness of global development challenges and opportunities.
2. Promoting international cooperation and solidarity among peoples and communities.
3. Supporting sustainable development and contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda.
4. Strengthening local capacities so that communities and organizations can develop and implement sustainable solutions.
5. Mobilizing resources through partnerships, fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and cooperation with donors and other stakeholders.
6. Promoting human security and supporting initiatives that improve the well-being and resilience of vulnerable and marginalized communities.
7. Encouraging education and knowledge sharing as tools for sustainable social and economic development.
8. Supporting youth participation and empowerment, recognizing young people as important partners in creating positive social change.
9. Promoting gender equality and inclusion throughout development activities and organizational partnerships.
10. Encouraging dialogue among cultures and peoples and contributing to a culture of peace, solidarity, mutual understanding, and respect.

WFWO is open to cooperation and contributions from individuals, communities, civil society organizations, institutions, governments, international organizations, private-sector partners, foundations, and other stakeholders who share a commitment to sustainable development and human dignity.
